For forest owners

The application period for this year has already ended. The next application period will begin on May 1, 2024, and end on July 31, 2024.

The WeReforest e.V. Expert Commission reviews all applications and selects the most convincing projects based on professional judgment. Within eight weeks after the application deadline, all applicants will be informed about which projects have been selected and will be funded.

By submitting your application, you commit to implementing your initiative in accordance with your documents and the association's objectives through self-effort (if you have a forestry operation) at market-based prices or by qualified specialized companies, or having it carried out.

After the implementation of the initiative, the execution and success will be examined by WeReforest e.V. itself or by contracted individuals/service providers. You will maintain and manage your forest, designed for future climate stability, in accordance with the project's goal and the principles of applicable laws for a minimum of 20 years.
